Another exhibition coming up!
This time is at Isetan Shinjuku, with new series called "captured" which you can see either water or salt captured in glass tubes shaped as necklaces, earrings, rings, or bangles. Water and salt symbolize circulation of energy as well as accumulation of time.
Also, there will be items with pearls from Uwajima and others in new colors.

春です！Spring Market in Daikannyama!

すっかり春ですね。
金沢に移り住んで2年、春のありがたさが本当に本当によくわかるようになりました。
多くの方が思う「北陸は雪」というイメージよりも、とにかく毎日曇っている冬空は
やる気をそぎ、出かける気分をそぎ、食欲をそぐ、とにかく憂鬱なものです。
太平洋岸からの移住者は最初の冬に軽くうつ症状になるのだとか。
私は初年度よりも2年目の冬がきつく、冗談のように曇る空を恨めしく見ていました。

そんな冬が終わるとき、人は外に出てきます。私も出ます。
以前ヨーロッパで冬の晴れた日、人々が競ってテラス席で食事をするのを見て
虫のようだと形容したものですが、私も虫になっていました。
春です。

そして春のイベントです。
代官山ヒルサイドテラスで行われるSpring Marketに参加します。
ジュエリーブランドが26、それ以外にもファッション・雑貨ブランドが6ブランド参加する、春のお祭り的イベントになりそうです。
お散歩途中にぜひお立ち寄りください。

I will attend an event in Daikanyama called, Spring Market, 18-20 April, in which 26 jewelry brands and 6 fashion, interior and food catering brands will be gathered!
The venue, Hillside Forum, is situated in the heart of Daikanyama where you can enjoy Spring walks also from Shibuya and Ebisu station.

Sense of Wonderworks in Wako Ginza

2014年に入ってもう3か月。
信じられないくらい時間の流れが速い毎日です。
今年は去年に増してあちこちに出向くことの多くなりそうな予感も・・・。

さて、来週末三日間銀座和光にて期間限定で開催される
Sense of Wonderworksに参加します。
このイベントは今回で3回目、22ブランドを一気にご紹介しており、_cthruitは初参加です。
どんな感じになるのか今からわくわくしています。

Solo show "over the rainbow" in gallery deux poissons

今年最初の個展です。
いつも素敵なコンテンポラリージュエリーを展示しているgallery deux poissonsにて。
2度目となりますが、とても楽しみでドキドキしています！
今回はしばらく封印していたカラーシリーズです。
ガラスでは表現しづらいグラデーションを泡のようなガラスで作ります。
初日にはささやかなパーティを行いますのでぜひお立ち寄りください。
お飲み物、軽食をご用意してお待ちしています。

My first solo show this year will be at the gallery deux poissons, where I had a 2-artist-show in the year before last.
I'm very excited to have a show there!
This time, I will display items with colors, which I once worked but quit using for a long time, to make a range of gradation like a rainbow.
